Wednesday the 14th of may Labrenta headquarter will host the third and final meeting dedicated to the first aid course, Heimlich Maneuver and B.L.S. (Basic Life Support).
This initiative has been proposed by Labrenta Ludic team, the group created a couple of years ago among the company employees with the aim of selecting and proposing activities intended to encouraging the interpersonal relationship among all workers,
but not only.
The importance of these meetings lies in the relevance of the issues dealt, more than the research of the recreational and ludic aspects. These evenings are held in collaboration with the Italian Association of Rescuers from the Schio Section, with the
aim to illustrate and teach some simples maneuvers and actions but crucial on saving a human life. Every year in Italy more than 60 thousand people are affected by cardiac arrest, about 164 every day with a survival percentage close to the zero due
to a late intervention. The education to essential basic techniques for dealing with an emergency situation increases for 3 times the chance of survival of those affected in case of accident, heart attack of injuries.
The first aid course is essential at work but in everyday life too. The enhancement of a health and safety culture is a key issue within Labrenta, we promote the well-being of every worker and thanks to this course we protect the health of each of them.
