Labrenta Green Deal 2030

The climate change, the air pollution, the waste issue, are just a few of the problems which strain our planet and for whom we have to find alternative and efficient solutions.
Born as a company which uses raw materials as cork is, Labrenta knows how the environment respect is important and is aware of its commitment to the earth.

With the aim of reducing the environmental impact with the guarantee of a sustainable production model, Labrenta undersigns its commitment to respect the planet and so its resources by presenting Labrenta Green Deal: a strategic roadmap to give concreteness to actions. A development commitment for a turning point, and therefore a more conscious way of doing business.

There are many and different fields of application and areas of intervention that Labrenta will strive to improve over the years: from production to logistics, from products' composition to the company habits, up to projects shared with third parties.

Moreover, the close affinity and partnership signed with the new start-up Mixcycling will allow a strong strengthening in research and development, with the study and application of alternative materials to meet the need of finding a sustainable alternative to plastic, or at least to its lower use in the closure production.

The action plan is set by years and divided by areas of intervention: we believe that involving different departments and different actors in this design will allow not only to achieve in a more and comprehensive way the settled objectives, but above all is to make the sustainability an intrinsic element of the corporate culture, for a change that will involve not only the individual actors in the company, but the whole body.
