Sughera closure is ready to write a new page of wine history.

Sughera closure is ready to write a new page of wine history.

The first closure without the risk of TCA contamination (the annoying cork smell) and without glue in contact with the wine, is called Sughera. It is realized by Labrenta, a vanguard company in the research on wine closures, after a ten-year process crowned with a patent (n. 1424843 del 3.10.2016). Sughera is a micro-agglomerated closure, perfectly sterilized, tied without glue. The innovation consists on a special blend of pharmaceutical polymer that is a natural tie between cork micro-grain. Wine producers can now offer a purer closure at sensorial and organoleptic level, completely recyclable. Another innovation that perfects Sughera is a sophisticated process of micro-injections that permits to repeat the tradition and naturality of cork. On the surface are created particular grooves for a final effect very similar to natural cork, not only for a visual impact but also for touch.
