Our awareness of environmental issues has encouraged us to undertake an in-depth study of bio-plastic. This type of material is derived from renewable raw materials such as corn starch or biopolymers of natural origin that are completely biodegradable and compostable. We have developed the very first 100% green and ecological closure by combining these materials with the natural qualities of cork and NGS technology
Sughera is the first composite material in micro-agglomerate cork: perfectly sterilized and bonded without use of glues thanks to a special blend of polymers designed to replace them thoroughly. This material is pure in terms of touch and smell and, along with its recyclability, it is an excellent solution for your products.
Waste reduction and the optimization of processing have resulted in our creation of a plastic-loaded wood which combines the tactile characteristics of wood with the convenience and versatility of plastic. The objective is to bring a circular economy into being.
Labrenta began its activity originally as a company that used only natural materials like cork, and it still acknowledges its importance in the closure sector due to the traditional use of cork and its inherent purpose as well as its particular characteristics that make it an outstanding insulating material. Its insulating properties are due to its ability to disperse energy, making it a buoyant, lightweight material that is also flexible and compact.
Wood, the “green” material par excellence, conveys the feeling of protection, heat and shelter. It is perhaps the oldest and most familiar of all materials – used for countless purposes; it is still one of our most requested. Thanks to the FSC® Certification we assure the exact provenance of part of the wood that we use for our products, thus guaranteeing the responsible management of the forest of origin.
The FSC® certification allows to guarantee the provenance of the wood used in some of our products, thus supporting the responsible management of forests and orchards. FSC® in an international non-governmental organization, independent and no-profit, certain that we can meet our current needs without compromising the world forests’ health. "No Paint System", an innovative wood manufacturing process. Thanks to a special treatment, the natural wood turns to a warm coloring on the whole surface, thus avoiding the artificial coloring phase and its possible discoloration over the time. This is a "green technique" because there is nothing artificial on its use.
This type of customisation can either result as embossed or as an engraving. It is obtained with a hydraulic press and without the use of paint or other synthetic materials. This makes it possible for wood to retain its particular characteristics: colour and grain remain unaltered so that the result is pure and natural.
Thanks to this special technology, wood processing is not limited to woodturning. It is processed with a three-dimensional method that allows for the utmost freedom in terms of design.
Elegant, sophisticated and astonishing, alabaster has unique traits. Its veiled transparency further enhances the beauty of its veining. The finishing of this stone can range from a very physical natural roughness to a glossy finish that is luminous and refined.
